I know some of you didnt agree... But the price I paid for these was too good to pass up. (basically go 4 wheels for the less than the price of one wheel new) Why the great price? Well one wheel needs a rebuild, new face & barrel, so I’ll have to dish out for that, but I come out a head in the end still.

Quick preview: with the rails polished it’ll tie it in even better. If im lucky I might be about to find a set of polished euro mirrors (passenger side is a nemo).

The Flat fives continue to grow on me. but deff needs more low, Im thinking 1/2" in the front and 1" in the rear. I like rake.

I love the Flat Fives, but I’m generally not a fan of any lip or polish. I like the nice visual enhancement of spokes that go all the way to the lip.They automatically look an inch bigger. Funny you mention rake (or The Carolina Squat on trucks) — when I was modding my Passat years ago, we wanted to avoid dropping the rear end at all costs...it was usually indicative of low-quality suspensions. BTW, my B5 was Royal Green. Love that color. My current B5 Variant is Emerald Green, which is more interesting, but I still don't like it as much as the old one...

Yea 3 peice wheels always look smaller do to the lip. But they will frame the brakes beautifully, In a way solid wheels dont. Like so:

Note that I would not take it that low, but you see what I meen by brake/rotor framing.

Oh also I would only run these for the summer, the Flat fives I run during spring/fall, and Rs6 5 spokes for the winter. I may have a wheel probelm...
